Jobs: Too many families in Elk Grove have been suffering due to the weak economy. We must focus on job creation and bringing more jobs to our community. Elk Grove needs experienced leadership that knows what it takes to encourage development and new business, creates good paying jobs and builds a strong base that allows our government to balance its budget, fund parks and make transportation improvements that make life better for all of our residents. Sacramento's failure controlling crime endanger our resident's property and well-being. I will not be beholden to other political bosses when deciding what is best in protecting our families and property. We must make Elk Grove a place that criminals don't want to visit. We have one of the top Police Departments. I strongly believe in providing them with the best tools possible that will protect them while they are out protecting us. Taxes/Spending: I believe in addressing government funding needs through stronger economic growth, not punishing local residentsand businesses with higher taxes.
