Candidacy and Challenges to the Community and the Water district Operations

Issues in this campaign include: a choice for the first time in 12 years for the LVMWD Director.

I am the first Candidate with a personal Website and Facebook page for comments and feedback about district issues where I will give voice to the publics concerns and report back. If elected, I will maintain these and use other modern communication tools easily available to us. My voice will bring the District's management culture into the modern communication era.

Is the District run in the most financially prudent manner, it seems not, with the pressure to build the $ 7M water tank. Why are our rates going up and the district Healthcare and Pensions fully funded by the ratepayers? I will work for meaningful and equitable solutions to these issues. As an Architect, I know building the $7 million project will take at least 18 MONTHS.

A supporter and I started placing our signs at 4:30 AM on Tuesday 10.16.12; the first day signs were permitted in Westlake Village. The impact was exactly what I hoped for. They presented my candidacy clearly. A foolish person or persons removed 39 of these signs in the same week, sometime late Thursday or early Friday and dumped them on the highly visible Triunfo Creek bank. Their efforts to damage my campaign had the exact opposite effect. The offense to fairness and democracy far exceeded any damage to my campaign. The outpouring of disdain for the cowardly act was heartwarming and heartfelt.
