Why should you or people care?? Most important issues are:

1. FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY Stabilize and sustain a viable budget. Develop a thoughtful short and long term Financial plan. Assure fiscal Accountability to the VOTERS and curtail unnecessary wasteful spending, baseless lawsuits with more targeted oversight by the Board of Supervisors. First & foremost, Assure public safety and law enforcement. Key factor in our Marin County government success and cost to the taxpayers and seniors who wish to stay in Marin County. This is a moral imperative.

2. PENSION REFORM: Lynchpin issue. Seek solutions to pension reform and explore immediately with a sense of urgency, a plan for financing of the unfunded liability of $700 million to $2.4 billion dollar.

3. QUALITY OF LIFE AND LOCAL CONTROL: Local control over Marin County planning for the future and maintain and safeguard the wonderful quality of life we enjoy. Senate Bill 375 and pending legislation will permanently affect our quality of life. Be involved to learn about the issues.

4. HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT issues: Assure quality of public health and environmental concerns with strategic focus.

5.EXPLORE ALTERNATIVES AND OPTIONS for our parks and library services. Promote developing economic development Action plan for job creation and partnerships with business/community partners. JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!!
