Position Papers
Public Safety
Crime is on the rise. In Long Beach alone, there were 12,900 property crimes in 2011. Due to economics, the early release of prisioners and high unemployment, we have to do a better job policing our city.
Business Growth and Development
Economic Development and Growth will be led and driven by local business. We must support local growth, which in return will create jobs and a stronger tax base.
Infrastructure
Our roads are falling apart, and their answer has been pothole repair. Are sidewalks are lifting and cracking, and their answer has been asphalt patch. We need to do a better job taking care of our neighborhoods, with real fixes, and not bandaide solutions.
