I am the manager of Sponsor Relations for a major financial services firm headquartered in El Segundo, CA. I have been a part of a winning team for the last 10 years as the gatekeeper of product for my company and successfully manage their key relationships. As such, I am the firm's liaison to our top tier strategic partners and our 2500 professional financial advisers.

In addition to managing key relationships and the product shelf, I also negotiate a capital raise for them each year in excess of $1.2 million dollars. With proven skills, I am instrumental in developing new resources and sales tools to drive ongoing financial sales. I take pride in being an effective communicator and negotiator as well as being service oriented and client centric. In addition to having a proven track record in the private sector, I am the President of 133 The Promenade Walk Corporation. This is a large progressive non-profit homeowners association located in Downtown Long Beach. As head of the Board of Directors for the last 4 years, I have gained experience in local and community issues. Prior to that, I was Vice President of a home owners association located in Lomita, CA.

Born and raised in New York City, California has been my home for the last 20 years. I've lived in and around Southern California experiencing Fullerton, Newport Beach, Irvine, Hermosa, and Lomita. I am now settled in the Downtown area of Long Beach and have lived here since 2007.

I enjoy connecting to people through an appreciation of the arts and music. I am a glass blower / glass artist and an avid art collector. Most of all my art collection has come from art shows held here in the 2nd District, East Village Arts District and 4th street Retro Row. I see that the art scene here in the 2nd District and all over Long Beach has it's rises and falls and to me, with so many successes with art districts in surrounding cities, Long Beach can have the same successes. I see the barriers that slow Long Beaches Arts and live music progression and I aim to knock those barriers out. The art districts of Long Beach will be as well known as the Gas Lamp in San Diego , and Old Town Pasadena.

I see that there is a move for the city to allow a private non-profit organization to asses duplicate taxes on services the people all ready get. This is not a healthy way for a private organization or to work with the public if their main objective it to work with the people.

There are many people who really want to do good for our city but are running on their own with out leadership and with out listen to the people. Because I enjoy focusing on results and getting things accomplished I will be that leadership which has been missing in our district.
