What are your qualifications for office? Answer from Steve Harness: 55-plus year resident of the District. Graduated of Mt. Healthy, as are all members of my family. 7-plus years on teh Board. 2. What would you do to advance the concept of "equity in education" in your district? Answer from Steve Harness: Ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed. 3. How would you use your students' state test results to improve education in your district? Answer from Steve Harness: Identity areas for improvement in instruction 4. What will you do to build consensus in the community in support of public schools? Answer from Steve Harness: Meet and talk with community organizations (churches, City Council, etc) to make sure they are clear of our expectations and goals 5. What are your budget priorities?
