For 40 years, my wife Mary and I have both lived and raised our family in our wonderful, unique City. I seek your support because I have the experience, knowledge, and integrity you deserve in our local elected officials. I pledge my decisions will never be influenced or intimidated by any person or special interest group. Vote for me, Mike Savidan, on November 8. I will serve you well.

My Goals for Lomita

Public Safety and keeping Lomita a safe place to live and raise a family is my number one priority

Maintaining City's financial stability

Repairing and maintaining our streets and infrastructure

Preserving low-density housing

Supporting Parks and Recreation programs

Meetings Needs and Concerns of Seniors

Work Experience

35 Year Law Enforcement career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, achieving the rank of Commander

Managed Large Sheriff's Department facilities

Administrative duties included managing multi-million dollar budgets

Worked within the City of Lomita as a Patrol Officer, Narcotics Officer, Gang Enforcement Team Member and Station Watch Commander

City Government Experience

Present Commissioner and Recent Chairman, Lomita Planning Commission (12 years)

Past Commissioner, Traffic/Safety Commission (8 years)

Member of Lomita Business License Permit Hearing Board

Member Lomita 5k Walk and Run committee

Lomita Little League, Team Manager, Board of Directors (13 years)

Graduate, FBI National Academy, Quantico, Virginia
