RECOVERY, RENEWAL AND REINVESTMENT PLAN:
A VOICE FOR OUR SENIORS & MOBILE HOMEOWNERS Harold Williams is familiar with the senior Programs offered by the City. The programs will continue to receive Harold's full support. In addition, Harold is committed to supporting desirable affordable housing such as mobile home parks, senior housing development and similar developments.

ENCOURAGE CREATION OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES Harold Williams will:

  • Encourage the development of GREEN projects with particular attention given to solar

  • Enhanced our business community through public/private partnerships

  • Promote the growth of businesses which provide job opportunities to Carson residents

  • Promote projects that provide entertainment venues for our young people

  • Promote projects that encourage growth of businesses which provide opportunities for Carson based small businesses, and ensure that large city contractors will offer subcontracts to small Carson firms whenever possible

DEVELOP OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR YOUTH Harold Williams will push local industrial and technical businesses to commit resources to help our young people prepare for the jobs and career opportunities associated with the:

  • Pacific Rim trade
  • Other long-term job producing projects

BUILDING A LIVABLE COMMUNITY Harold Williams supports efforts such as:

  • Much more vigorous code enforcement to encourage compliance
  • Community-oriented policing with Sheriff bike and foot patrols
  • Greater community involvement in crime prevention and crime intervention
  • Mentor programs through parks & recreation
