I am a lifelong resident of Commerce. Like many of you, I learned to swim at the aquatorium, played youth sports in our city park programs, enjoyed reading books from the library and as a student, I worked part-time for the city at the aquatorium. My family and I enjoyed all the city services. As a council member, I will work hard to ensure that our next generation of residents has the same opportunities.

I have been employed with the Commerce Casino for the past nineteen years in their Accounting Department. I also established a successful promotion and event marketing company that assists businesses with grass-roots marketing and event management to increase patronage and to improve online strategies.

My community involvement includes serving on the Education Commission, Railroad Task Force and currently on the Planning Commission. My experience on the Planning Commission has provided me the skills and knowledge to be able to work with our Industrial community and plan ahead to bring in new businesses.

My nineteen years in accounting and marketing have provided me with the experience and understanding needed to work toward a balanced budget. I will also focus on creating new revenue streams by attracting new businesses into our city. I believe residents need to be heard and I will listen to their concerns. I have consistently attended neighborhood watch program meetings throughout the city. I know that each area of the city has its own priorities, whether it's the Veteran's area, Bristow, Bandini or Rosewood. Each area is unique and I will address their issues.

Commerce residents are the reason I am running for City Council. I will work tirelessly and with integrity to make you proud of our city. I know how hard our residents work to raise their families. I know that our city employees work honorably to serve our city and its accomplishments. I value our senior citizens who continue to be the foundation of our community. I will work hard to provide various services to help our children be able to compete in a twenty first century job market.

I will serve with this community with honesty, integrity and commitment. I am asking for your vote to ensure that Commerce continues to move forward.
