Great Neighborhoods in a Great City

By Steve Madison

Candidate for Council Member; City of Pasadena; District 6

This information is provided by the candidate
I have always believed that great neighborhoods make a great city. That is why I first ran for City Council, and it is why I'm running for re-election on March 8th.

I love working with you to make Pasadena an even better place to live. Together we have:

Fought to protect West Pasadena from traffic and overdevelopment

Improved quality of life and City services in every neighborhood

Invested in strengthening Pasadena's civic and economic infrastructure

Kept Pasadena financially strong through a brutal recession without raising taxes

There have been many other accomplishments , like making the City more environmentally conscious and energy efficient. And there are big challenges remaining to be met, like finding new ways to support and improve our public schools.

But, overall, I think Pasadena is a great city--and the neighborhoods in our district are wonderful places to live, work and raise a family. I am proud to have had a hand in making that happen, and eager to continue my service to you and to Pasadena.

I would be honored to have your support and your vote on March 8th.
