A resident of West Hollywood for over 20 years, John D'Amico has deep roots in our community. John's love of West Hollywood has only grown in the years that he has lived here. His commitment to West Hollywood's core values of providing affordable housing, a consistently high level of social services for residents in need, as well as a safe place to live, visit, play and be an individual is unwavering.

John D'Amico has worked towards these goals his entire professional life. A former Chair of the West Hollywood Planning Commission, John D'Amico was involved with helping to develop the goals and incentives for the green building ordinance, enhancing affordable housing incentives, creating higher design standards, and participating in long-term city-wide planning efforts. John has been an active member of many commissions and boards within our City for nearly 15 years. A fierce advocate for the people of West Hollywood, John D'Amico has utilized both his hard work ethic and his professional experience to protect the interest of our residents, to give the people a voice at City Hall and to fight for greater transparency in our City government.

In the past 15 years, John D'Amico has chaired the Design Review Board of the West Hollywood Planning Commission and was vice Chair of the Human Services Commission, member of the Disabilities Advisory Board and was the CES representative to the Eastside PAC. John served three years on the Los Angeles County HIV Health Services Commission and two years on the Los Angeles County Commission on HIV Prevention and Planning.
