Smart Voter Political Philosophy for John S. Stammreich

Candidate for
State Senator; District 28

This information is provided by the candidate

Sacramento is broken!

We deserve a state senator who will fight record unemployment, unacceptably low graduation rates, tax dollars being taken from local governments, and those forcing businesses to leave the South Bay and California.

These must be the top priorities of the South Bay's next state senator!

Why I want to represent the South Bay:
- Born & raised, and now live & work in the South Bay
- Graduate - United States Naval Academy, Annapolis
- 11-year Naval Officer, including Military Police duty near the California-Mexico border
- Supply Chain Manager for nine years, including seven years in South Bay aerospace
- Led bi-partisan coalition to defeat Measure B in 2009, which threatened to double utility rates throughout the City of Los Angeles
- Joined the South Bay Tea Party to oppose Propositions 1A-1E in May 2009
- Married to Andrea for 8 years, two daughters (6 years and 2 years)

When elected, I will:

1) Fight "Job-Killer" legislation and regulations sending jobs and businesses out of California;

2) Fix California's failing education system through increased accountability of spending; and

3) Protect local services and revenues from greedy Sacramento politicians.

Sacramento is broken!

In 2010, voters will have a choice to "Save the South Bay Dream", fight legislative job-killers and hold Sacramento accountable to the taxpayers again. That choice will be me!
