To meet the challenges of the next generation, our students must be prepared. Our school board must foster the three "T's" of teamwork, training and technology that kids need to supplement the basic three "R's" we have always counted on. As your school board member, I will make partnerships, not politics, a priority. Parents, teachers and the school board must work together to foster a quality learning environment! Our schools must emphasize skills training including new technologies so our students are prepared for college or career to compete and prosper in this new global economy.

As a district parent and 23 year district resident, I have a strong vested interest in our community and school district. In addition, my professional experience has always included advocating for education and workforce development at the local, state and federal levels.

I am proud to have the support of many local leaders, including Rancho Cordova Mayor Ken Cooley and Folsom City Council Member Kerri Howell because they know they can count on me to work hard and stand up for our schools and community in every way I can.
