Goals

Candidate for Board Member; Natomas Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate
Balancing the budget, decrease class size and offer a wide range of programs to meet student interests.
I want to balance our budget so that we can continue to a offer high quality education to every student in these difficult economic times.

I want to return to smaller class sizes, especially at the elementary level when learning the basics is critical to overall educational success.

I want to ensure our parents feel welcome in our schools and encouraged and able to assist their children become better learners by providing opportunities for parents to improve their parenting and technical skills, expanding our adult education programs, and improving school site communications.

I want to continue to expand our career educational opportunities and offer a multi-pathways to success approach that will prepare students for college and careers. Professional development for teachers will also expand the teaching styles to help connect with students so that they stay in school and are prepared for the future.
