Cal Johnson led the way for the construction of new middle school in West Fresno.The new state of the art middle school will be located on the current Carver site and spread along 22 acres. The school site will provide hundreds of our students a 21st century education with the latest technology preparing kids for today's job market. For the first time in 30 years our kids will have the same after school tutoring and activities that other neighborhood middle schools provide. To better serve students in our neighborhoods we are moving forward with the construction of a new elementary school. This new school will provide our southeast families with a state-of-the art facility our students and community deserve. The targeted opening for this new school is Fall 2012. |
