This information is provided by the candidate

As a School Board member, community and parent volunteer, I have worked to improve and maintain the quality of education in the El Dorado Union High School District. My background in technology and business allows me to bring experience, skills and perspective to the school board. I take my obligation to oversee the District's responsible use of resources very seriously. I have also worked to help generate additional resources by working for and supporting successful campaigns to support modernization of the District's school buildings (Measure Q), as well as music, physical education, art, science and classroom technology. I work diligently to keep open lines of communication with teachers, parents and community members to ensure that District is working collaboratively and effectively.

It is important that the District provide adequate resources and set the environment to maximize student achievement in reading, writing and math, without losing sight of the importance of social studies, science, music, physical education, ROP and art. I have consistently supported these programs as a Board Member, Career Technical Education committee member, and a parent volunteer.

I ask that you allow me to use my skills, background and dedication to continue serving on the El Dorado Union High School District Board of Trustees.
