By Sandie Arnott

Candidate for Treasurer-Tax Collector; County of San Mateo

This information is provided by the candidate
The Tax Collector-Treasurer's office is the money center for San Mateo County, special districts and our public schools. This office is too important to leave to chance, inexperience or politics. I have a proven record of results that spans 20 years, having worked in every area of the office. The taxpayers of this county can have peace of mind knowing that in my candidacy they have an ethical, seasoned leader that will continue to provide the high level of performance and service they have a right to expect. In the last ten years our investments earned $662 million for the county, special districts and our public schools with an average earnings rate of 3.47%. This is significantly better than our competition. We have set a standard for innovative achievements. One of our many services is the message for seniors on the tax bill informing them of their rights to an exemption from parcel taxes. We have invested in technology and moved many services online to reduce costs and deliver services 24/7. I guarantee you accountability and experience you can count on and respectfully request your vote for Tax Collector-Treasurer. For more information please visit http://www.sandiearnott2010.com.
