I love the high drama and the low comedy that is politics. My motto is "Comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable". I believe that a citizen is at his/her best when she/he is working to elect the best people to public office. This is why I have devoted a substantial portion of my life to political activism and will continue to do so. I have always been a Democrat because the Democratic Party speaks out for those whose circumstances have impeded their ability to be heard in the halls of power. We must always speak the truth to power, and I will continue to do so.
