Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Shirley J. Freeman

Candidate for
Member, Republican Party Party County Central Committee; County of Sacramento; Supervisorial District 4

This information is provided by the candidate

I believe in Reagan Conservative values. I joined the Republican Party because of Ronald Reagan back in the 1980's. I believe that the Government should not spend more than it takes in. I believe in limited Government as the Constitution calls for. I believe that the Government should follow the Constitution and that it is a living document that was divinely written and does not need changing. I do not think the Government should over tax it's people nor should they over burden them with laws and regulations. I believe our forefathers were insightful and knew that we could lose our freedoms and liberty if we are not careful. They told us so. I think we need to pay more attention to what our elected officials are doing and hold their feet to the fire so to speak. I believe more people need to get involved with the political system. I don't believe Government is the solution, at this point it is the problem. I will work to try to improve the Republican Party.
