Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Ryan Chin

Candidate for
Council Member; City of Sacramento; Council District 7

This information is provided by the candidate

My top priorities are:

1. Creating Jobs: As a city, we must aggressively step forward to attract more growth industries to Sacramento. it's time to stop talking and actively pursue new job opportunities, whether it's a strong company who is looking to relocate or an expanding new 21st century industry.

2. Helping Local Business: When local stores close we all suffer -- losing local jobs and quality services close to home. By giving a hand to our local businesses to help them through these hard times, we preserve the quality of life in our neighborhoods and save our local economy.

3. Investing in Youth: It is time to stop trying to solve crime problems by simply locking up our youth and paying to keep them in expensive, overcrowded juvenile facilities. We must prevent crime before it happens by investing in youth crime prevention programs that provide long-term savings, keep our streets safe and provide our kids with a positive future.
