Shall the order adopted on January 21, 2010, by the Local Agency Formation Commission of Riverside County ordering the incorporation of the territory described in the order, including detachment from the Riverside County Waste Resources Management District, subject to the terms and conditions specified in the order designated as LAFCO No. 2008-18-2 (Resolution No. 01-10) be confirmed? ¿Se deberá confirmar la orden, adoptada el 21 de enero de 2010 por la Comisión de Formación de Agencias Locales del Condado de Riverside, que ordena la incorporación del territorio descrito en la orden, incluyendo la separación del Distrito de Administración de Recursos de Desechos del Condado de Riverside, sujeta a los términos y condiciones especificados en la orden designada como LAFCO No 2008-18-2 (Resolución No 01-10)?

Measure G. 9-1-1 Emergency Response, Police, Fire and Safe Streets Measure -- City of Desert Hot Springs (Parcel Tax - 2/3 Approval Required)

To prevent crime and shorten 9-1-1 response times by hiring additional police officers, firefighters, paramedics; upgrading emergency communications equipment; increasing gang and drug prevention programs; and expanding community policing, shall the City of Desert Hot Springs renew the existing annual public safety parcel tax rates for a period of 10 years, with independent citizens' review/annual audits? Para prevenir los delitos y reducir el tiempo de respuesta de 9-1-1 al contratar agentes de policía, bomberos y paramédicos adicionales; mejorar los equipos de comunicación de emergencia; aumentar programas de prevención de pandillas y drogas, y ampliar la vigilancia comunitaria, ¿deberá la Ciudad de Desert Hot Springs renovar las tasas existentes de impuestos sobre las parcelas destinados a seguridad pública por un período de 10 años, con revisión de ciudadanos/auditorías anuales independientes?

To offset the impact of severe state budget cuts on essential services; address Cathedral City's Fiscal Emergency; prevent drastic cuts to police officers, firefighters, paramedics and ambulance response, 9-1-1 emergency dispatch, safety equipment for police officers and firefighters, anti-gang/anti-drug programs; and preserve other general City services, shall Cathedral City adopt a one cent transactions (sales) and use tax, expiring in five years, requiring citizens' finance advisory committee review and annual financial audits? ¿Para contrarrestar el impacto de los profundos recortes del presupuesto estatal en los servicios esenciales; dirigirnos a la emergencia fiscal de Cathedral City; prevenir recortes drásticos de agentes de policía, bomberos, respuesta por parte paramédicos y de ambulancias, despacho de emergencia 9- 1-1, equipos de seguridad para agentes de policía y bomberos y programas contra pandillas y drogas; y, preservar otros servicios generales municipales, ¿deberá Cathedral City adoptar un impuesto de un centavo sobre las transacciones (ventas) y el uso, que vencerá en cinco años y que requerirá revisión del comité de asesoramiento financiero formado por ciudadanos y auditorías financieras anuales?

To preserve/maintain essential Coachella services such as police officers, firefighters; 911 response times; crime, gang and drug prevention programs; fixing potholes and streets; removing graffiti; sweeping streets; maintaining parks, soccer and sports fields; funding youth and senior services; and preserving other City services, shall Coachella establish a 5% utility users tax, exempting low-income seniors, with independent citizens oversight and annual financial audits, with all funds solely for Coachella? ¿Para preservar/mantener los servicios esenciales de Coachella, como oficiales de policía y bomberos; tiempos de respuesta del 911; programas de prevención de delitos, pandillas y drogas; reparación de baches y calles; eliminación de grafiti; barrido de calles; mantenimiento de parques, campos de fútbol y deportivos; financiamiento de servicios para jóvenes y personas mayores; y para preservar otros servicios municipales, ¿deberá Coachella establecer un impuesto de 5% a los usuarios de servicios públicos, exentando a los ancianos de bajos ingresos, con la supervisión de ciudadanos independientes y auditorías financieras anuales, con todos los fondos exclusivamente para Coachella?
