  • Appointed Sheriff in 1996, re-elected twice by wide margins
  • President of the California State Sheriffs' Association from 2004-2005 and is currently chairman of the Legislative Committee
  • Served two terms as President of the Marin County Police Chiefs' Association
  • Bob was born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City, has an adult daugher, Caitlin

  • Use his experience and innovative program to continue keeping Marin safe
  • Continue to increase the efficiency of the Sheriff's Office while improving public safety
