Candidate Forums
- A candidate forum will be held from 6-8 p.m. on May 11, 2010 at the Oldemeyer Center, 986 Hilby Avenue in Seaside. It will feature candidates for the Superintendent of Schools and the Monterey County Sheriff. The event will be hosted by the Seaside Ad-Hoc Committee for Local Elections, the League of United Latin American Citizens #2895, the Seaside Merchants' Association and the Seaside Ministerial Alliance. - The public is invited on Monday, May 3, 2010 to hear the candidates. Location is at Hartnell College Performing Arts Facility in Choral Room # 125. The forum starts at 6:00 p.m. and will end at 9 p.m. The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters of the Salinas Valley and is co-sponsored with the Hartnell Political Science Club. For information call 422-2429. Location is at 156 Homestead Avenue, between Alisal Street and Central Avenue.
