Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Danielle Nealis

Candidate for
Member, Board of Education; Tuckahoe Union Free School District

This information is provided by the candidate

As a mother, teacher, and taxpayer, I believe that the most important priority is to make sure that the children in this District get the full benefit that the schools have to offer them. I feel that the students can be challenged more...I want our students to get the same opportunities that other Districts offer to their students, such as a cohort to offer college credits to students while they are still in high school.

I believe strongly that all parties should be represented at Board meetings. Community members need to know what the issues are and be active participants in the discussions.

I hope that I can provide the community with what they are looking for in a Board member. I am open-minded, and I am not afraid to speak my mind. I know what to look for in educational programs and I want the best for our children.
