Initiatives to be pursued to save money and/or reduce costs:
The initiative of open forums with all community members, which began under the current Board of Education's tenure, for items such as the annual School District Budget should be continued. This provides an opportunity for an exchange of information and ideas between the School District and town residents. Obtaining grants that would assist the School District in various areas such as to "Go Green" and to be more cost and energy efficient in its facilities.
