I have lived in Montebello for the last 30 years. I have my
own business as a Insurance Broker. I have worked with
the community many years. I believe in Community service
and belonged to several service clubs in Montebello
like the Historical Society of Montebello, Rotary Club of
Montebello, Chamber of Commerce of Montebello and
the YMCA.
During this past year I was appointed to the Planning
Commission and I have learned how important it is to have
growth for our City. There is a General Plan for the City
but we need people on Council that are Visionary to see
that growth happens in a responsible way. I know I am that
person. My priority will be to bring revitilization to Whittier
Boulevard and our Montebello Mall. We also need good
Restaurants like Chili's, Lucille's, Mimi Café, etc.
I humbly ask for your vote on February 23, 2010.

He vivido en Montebello durante los últimos 30 años.
Tengo mi propio negocio como agente de seguros. He
trabajado con la comunidad durante muchos años. Creo
en el servicio a la comunidad y he pertenecido a varios
clubes de servicio en Montebello como son: la Sociedad
Histórica de Montebello, el Club Rotario de Montebello
y la Asociación de Jóvenes Cristianos (YMCA, por sus
siglas en inglés).
Durante este año pasado fui nombrada a la Comisión de
Planificación, y he aprendido lo importante que es tener
un crecimiento en nuestra ciudad. Existe el Plan General
para la Ciudad, pero necesitamos gente en el Concejo
que sea visionaria para asegurarnos de que el crecimiento
ocurra de una manera responsable. Yo soy la persona
indicada para eso. Mi prioridad será la revitalización
de Whittier Boulevard y de nuestro Centro Comercial
Montebello. Además, necesitamos buenos restaurantes
como son Chili's, Lucille's, Mimi's Café, etc.
Humildemente les pido su voto el 23 de febrero de
2010.
