My reason for running for Rosemead City Council

As an involved resident of Rosemead, I am concerned that our city faces many challenges to deliver quality of life services to its residents. We need new leaders to replace the old and make mend of past failed policies in order to build partnerships with public and private sectors to improve our quality of life.

As councilmember, I will work with you to make Rosemead a place where people can come to as a mainstream destination. We need better opportunities where more stakeholders become active in civic life in Rosemead.

I have served our community for ten years as Legislative Aide and Community Representative to State Senator Gloria Romero and Boardmember for the Garvey School District since 2003. As a School Boardmember, I have served as Board President, Vice President and Clerk. Working with the community of Rosemead, our schools have been successful in raising test scores, creating after school programs for a thousand of our students, and building support to modernize our classrooms and expanding academic enrichment programs. I am also a Block Captain for my Neighborhood Watch because public safety is an important issue for me and keeping our streets safe.

I pledge you my experience and dedication to your service. Our community comes first. My vision for Rosemead is where all residents have access to their City Hall.
