Being a City Council Member is all about public service. I will serve the public by listening to citizens, commissioners, staff and other council members, weighing the pros and cons of all sides of issues and then making a decision that I believe is in the best long term interest of the community. It would be unrealistic to think that we will always agree; however, once a decision is made and policy is established by the majority of the City Council, it is incumbent on the entire Council to support the decision and make sure the policy is implemented. I pledge to listen and do my homework so that I can fulfill my reponsibility to serve the public to the best of my ability.
