Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Debbie Cook

Candidate for
United States Representative; District 46

This information is provided by the candidate

Economy

I'm committed to creating highly-skilled green collar jobs in a new clean-energy economy and rebuilding our infrastructure. The federal government should invest in research and create incentives that will spur private investment into new energy technologies.

National Security

We need to end the costly war in Iraq responsibly, and join international efforts on fighting terrorism. I'll work to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, our number one security issue.

Health Care

We need to increase efficiency and reduce the high costs of insurance company bureaucracy to make health care affordable and accessible to all.

Ethics & Integrity

I have fought public corruption in Huntington Beach and I will take that fight to Washington. I'll vote to strengthen House ethics rules and support campaign finance reform.
