I am running for City Council to give our neighborhoods another voice in City Hall, to improve alternative transportation and get cars off the road, and to put my 25 years of CPA experience to work for our budget priorities.

As a Certified Public Accountant, I have the budget experience and knowledge to stand up for Santa Rosa's long-term interests. I understand government's responsibility to balance the needs of the business community with the quality of life that Santa Rosa deserves.

As President of the Junior College Neighborhood Association, Founding Board Member and Past President of Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, and member of Friends of SMART, I have worked hard to improve our local quality of life and protect our environment and local resources.

As a teacher at Sonoma State and Piner High School, I feel an obligation to preserve Santa Rosa for future generations.

As your Council Member, I will act to:

  • Protect Our Environment and Resources
  • Fix the Budget Imbalance
  • Upgrade Public / Alternative Transportation Options
  • Build Affordable / Workforce Housing
  • Encourage Transparency and Open Government

That's why I'm endorsed by Noreen Evans, Mike Reilly, Steve Rabinowitsh and SCCA, among many others.

I ask for your vote.
