Re-Elect Debora for continued smart growth in Windsor

By Debora Lynn Fudge

Candidate for Council Member; Town of Windsor

This information is provided by the candidate
I am running for a fourth term to the Windsor Town Council so I can finish what I have been working on for the past twelve years....the incredible transformation of the Town of Windsor. I plan to continue approving high quality development downtown just like you see now. We have created a community with our summer outdoor movies and concerts on our Town Green - a true family friendly town that we love, and that causes others in Sonoma County to relocate to Windsor for who we are, and what we offer. It is important that I am re-elected so we can continue to develop in a sustainable way, continuing to push the envelope toward a future where we can maintain our already excellent quality of life, and generate fewer greenhouse gasses. The Town Council commissioned an Economic Development study for Windsor, which will be finished shortly. We also were awarded a special grant from the American Institute of Architects where 6 AIA professional from across the nation spent 3 days here helping us to create plans for a more sustainable Windsor. I ask to be re-elected so that I can implement both of these forward thinking plans. I work hard for Windsor, I plan pro-actively with input from our residents, and I plan for the future of our children, while safeguarding the present for our older residents. I will continue to honor our 20 year urban growth boundary, and to keep growth at a slow rate. I'd also like to continue to work with the schools to help integrate our school children into all of the community events we have going on now, and I want to work on a Safe Routes to Schools program in Windsor.

As I've done in the past, I will be running my campaign myself with help from a couple of friends, in a grassroots manner and with a small budget.

I promise to continue working for you, and as always, to be an accessible councilmember. I publish my home phone number and welcome calls.
