Time To Step Aside

At age 80 it is time for me to step aside in favor of a younger person

I have enjoyed a 44 year relationship with the Rincon Valley Fire Department and the Rincon Valley Fire Protection District. The last 22 years I have served on the District's Board of Directors.

Now, at age 80, I believe that it is time for me to step aside in favor of a younger person.

I filed for reelection only because it appeared at the time that no one else was willing to serve on the Board.

Since that time another person has filed for election to the Board. This is a person whom I know to be a person of great honor and integrity. A person whom I believe would be a valuable asset to the Rincon Valley Fire Protection District.

In this election there will be four names on the ballot for Board of Directors of the Rincon Valley Fire Protection District. There will be three positions to fill.

I am asking that the voters elect the other three candidates to the Board of Directors and to allow me to retire.
