Method of voting for trustees

The voting method must be changed to decrease the difficulty in running for the Delta College board.
Due to the 5 county area served by the community college, the cost of being on the ballot and describing oneself cost several thousand dollars. This removes the possible for many people to effectively run for this office.

The voting method must be changed to area wide voting to enable more people to become involved in candiate process. This change would also reduce the possibility of a candidate buying an election. It would allow the voting public to become better informed about the candidates on their ballot.
