Candidate for
Board Member; Pine Valley Community Planning Area, Pine Valley Portion

My intent in serving my neighbors on the Pine Valley Planning Group is to protect the community of Pine Valley.
As we are an unincorporated area of the County of San Diego, the Board of Supervisors is our "city council" as it were. The decisions they make concerning Pine Valley affect us all. The Pine Valley Planning Group is an advisory body made up of elected residents of Pine Valley who review, vote on and advise the Department of Planning and Land Use on land use issues concerning our town.
Many of us live here in the midst of the Cleveland National Forest because of the natural beauty, the peace and quiet and rural nature of our town.
It is important that the County and our elected representatives, the Supervisors, have a boots on the ground view of the issues that affect Pine Valley and it's residents. The Planning Group provides that representation for all of us.
I pledge to you that I will examine the issues that come before the Plannning group and make decisions that I believe will protect Pine Valley from careless development and the destruction of the Pine Valley "way of life".
