Resident of El Cajon and division 5 of the Helix Water District for 49 years.

Korean War Veteran U.S.Navy Seabee M.C.B.#3 Subic Bay Philippines A.C.B.#1 Korea and Japan.

Retired Geotechnical Consultant with over 50 years of field level supervisory and managerial experience in the construction engineering and geotechnical fields.

Community involvement includes 14 years of public service beginning with appointment to the El Cajon Building Authority in 1974. During that same year served as Vice Chairperson of Residential Sub-Committee for the revision of the El Cajon General Plan.

Served 7 years on the El Cajon Planning Commission 1975 to 1982.

Appointed to the El Cajon City Council in 1982. Elected to a second term in 1984 to 1988.

Chairperson of Heartland Fire Training Authority Comission from 1986 to 1988

Appointed in 1984 to League of Californis Cities Employee Policy Committee and served as State Chairperson.

Committee member of Camp Development for Girl Scout Camp Winacka Pine Hills, former Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster Troop 393 and Certified Merit Badge Counselor.

Elected to the Helix Water District Board of Directors in 2004. Appointed to the Association of California Water Agencies Groundwater Committee in 2004. Appointed to the Cuyamaca College Water Conservation Garden Authority as Alternate Director in 2004. Appointed to the San Diego County Water Authority Board of Directors in 2006 and serves on the Engineering/Operations and Administration/Finance Committees.
