Future projections
The development of strategic initiatives that reflect the 3 R Focus(Rigor, Relevance,Relationships) must be embedded in Board Policy. These initiatives must be the result of Community Forums that combine parent choices with student desires in the preparation of what students need for the future. The Board Policy would include the vision of the Administration which stated"Poway Unified schools serve as the gateway to our children's future. We share a moral imperative to strive toward having each student graduate college ready in order to pursue a full range of post secondary options and be prepared for life beyond high school."
