If elected I plan to:

  • Work with my fellow board members to lead the superintendent in creating a culture that promotes universal achievement for every student through exceptional collaboration among parents, teachers, and administrators. I will work tirelessly to both raise expectations and hold all members within our system accountable for the academic success of every student, so that each student will graduate from high school prepared for college if they so choose to attend.

  • Continue to work toward becoming a fiscally responsible and stable school district, where all decisions are driven by what is right for students.

  • Support teachers by providing them with the tools necessary to achieve unprecedented results, by working collaboratively around a college readiness focus.

  • Act as a steward for our community's social and financial success by challenging the status quo for the purpose of becoming a district known for the highest caliber of education.

It is time for the Ramona Unified School District to become known throughout San Diego County and beyond as a leader in the field of education. I believe that my diligent work as a school board member can contribute to such success.
