Meg Jedynak (38) is a Southern California native who returned home this year to San Diego after 9 years away in Maryland with her husband Andy and sons John (11), William (10) and Joel (8). Before moving to Maryland, she was an Alpine resident and freelance columnist for the Alpine Sun. Formerly in radio and television, Meg is now active in community and civic work. She recently completed her tenure on the board of the Holly Hills Country Club community in Ijamsville, Maryland, and currently serves as National Vice Chair for Property Beautification and Hospitality, at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) in Washington D.C. She is a proud member of the Mayflower Society.

Meg has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/Television Journalism from San Diego State University (1992), and graduated from Poway High School in 1988. She met and married her husband at NBC 7/39. After having children, Meg freelanced for the Alpine Sun, Children's Hospital, Parents Active for Vision Education and The Del Mar Fair. She has also worked at Sea World, Disneyland and one of the most successful Top 40 radio stations (formerly Q106 of San Diego) in the nation.

Meg Jedynak has been married for 14 years to Andy Jedynak, who is President and Chief Marketing Officer of KidZui, The Internet for Kids. Her three boys attend Dehesa Elementary School in El Cajon. The Jedynaks attend Skyline Church.

Meg is marked by quickly figuring out missing pieces, finding cooperation in a group, and getting it done. She loves to serve and improve her community. Earlier this year she brought together more than 60 community volunteers and businesses who donated services to plant 700 trees in a watershed preservation project.
