1. M.D. since 1976 + Emergency Medicine, Family Practice with emphasis on nutrition and exercise, Occupational medicine
- Interim Physician's Innovative Physician award
2. Author + Rocket Phonics; ADHD vs. Kinesthetic learner
3. Father/husband married 18 years, daughter 14 years old

- Volunteered- various VUSD committees in early 80's
- First term 86-90 + built 6 schools, bond failed twice.
- Second term: 2000-04 won
- Built 5 schools
- Voted for dropout recovery which has risen to 22%
- Voted for keeping computer labs and librarians
- Voted for the cost variance report
- Voted against shuffling principals
- Voted against cutting nurses w/o backup plan Predicted a 7% drop in middle school literacy if administration didn't give added support to the middle school after they switched to single track. Drop occurred as predicted.
