By Don H. Heichel

Candidate for Director; Soquel Creek Water District

New way to irrigate Pasatiempo Golf Course
My neighbor, Scott Hamby, gave me a tour of their Recycling Plant.

In a later conversation about the tour with his wife, Lynette, I said that I didn't have to hold my nose once and she responded that was right.

I still have a how do they do that reaction to the place.

The Recycling Plant being studied to water Seascape Golf Course is a smaller class called a Satellite Reclamation Plant (SRP) and is discussed in Soquel Creek Water's published docs.

Visit my web site (http://www.soquelh2o.com) and compare all they've done to push desalination; also read the advantages of recycling water.

NYTimes had a recent article on a big Orange County recycling plant opening; search Orange County, recycled water.

Warning: if you search recycled water, you will not have enough time to begin to cover the subject.
