The rising tide of a stronger local economy is the key to turning this around. Sierra College can help equip younger and working-age students with the skills they need to increase their earning potential with their existing employer, or acquire new skills to find a higher-paying job. By making it as simple and easy as possible to access college, we can give our local economy the jumpstart it needs.

The Agenda for Change

Expand access to financial aid and student services, by making these critical "getting started" resources more accessible and convenient to working people.

Invest in online and televised education, expanding what we can bring to our students in the convenience of their home or workplace, 24/7.

Protect funding for tutoring and labs, which have a direct impact on student success.

Partner with our local high schools to open classes, giving every one of our juniors and seniors the chance to take their first steps into college before graduating from high school.
