Candidate for
Council Member; City of Galt

Now is the time for the City of Galt to elect a council member who will serve the needs of its citizens. As your council member I will have an open door policy. I will take a community approach to problem solving, not governed by ego or power, but a sincere desire to make the next four years far better than the last four years. I am a businesswoman, a Mom and a long time resident of Galt, making me uniquely qualified to make economic decisions that are logical and caring. I am fortunate because I work and live in Galt. My priorities are your priorities. I will work to provide more shopping venues and job opportunities, ensure there is adequate funding for public safety, without increasing taxes, and provide more indoor and outdoor recreational facilities for not only our youth, but for everyone to enjoy. We need a common sense approach towards growth without jeopardizing our city's charm. Working together with the community and local business and city leaders, we can meet these needs. I would like to see more town hall meetings to discuss local issues. I believe the town hall meeting with our neighboring mayors in attendance was a good idea. I would like to make this an annual event.
