Education is the key to preserving our resources for future generations.

By Clarence Wong

Candidate for Board of Directors; Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District; Division 2

This information is provided by the candidate
Educating our populace is the key to successful conservation efforts.
We, as Americans, are at a crossroads in maintaining our lifestyle as we now know it; we need to learn how not to be so wasteful and nonchalant about using our precious natural resources.

The best place to start is with our children, the next generation. If we can educate our children at an early age to actively develop habits of resource conservation, we may be able to make a difference now, while we still can.

I will develop a more proactive approach to educate the general populace in conserving water and making other environmentally conscience choices; water is life - without water there is no life.
