Holding the "water polluters" companies accountable for groundwater cleanup and not the taxpayers. Similar to Congress saying no to the bailout of the greedy bastards in Wallstreet! Protect the Groundwater basin from poorly treated sewer water.
Listens to the concerns of residents and voters, not on any political payroll and only director to vote against a miss guided and unpopular reclaimed sewer water project scheme to get cheap, but problematic water to the indirect benefit of water companies, through an unproven and risky "aquifer treatment" strategy. This project was ultimately killed through the efforts of Miller's Brewery in 1992 and (Director Robinson in the later stages) after the brewery compromised with the water industry on a downscaled project.

Force the State Department of Health Services to conduct research, to meet the emerging challenges of an "environmental cocktail" of dozens of emerging water contaminants including Chromium 6 regulation. (Remember: Erin Brockovitch).
