Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Incumbent
  • Retired High School and Community College Teacher. Graduate of College of the Sequoias and Fresno State College.
  • Elected to Woodlake High Board of Trustees in 1992 and 1996. Elected to the College of the Sequoias Board of Trustees in 2000 and 2004.
  • I served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Returned to Visalia area working a year for the Bank of America before returning to COS.
  • Completed my BA work at Fresno State in 1959 and started teaching at Woodlake High and retired 33 years later from Woodlake.
  • I was married for 49 years to Joan before she passed away in Jan of 2008. We have two daughters Paula and Laura.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Continue to expand our off-campus classes to meet the needs of the students
  • Continue to serve the voters of Ward 3 as I have for the past eight years.
  • Expand the Vocational and Certificate programs at COS.
