I strongly believe that all people despite income level and ethnicity deserve adequate access to quality education. Currently, many of our areas are under represented such as in North Visalia, Farmersville, Woodlake, Ivanhoe, Cutler-Orosi and various other smaller communities.

The ward which I wish to represent is comprised of rural and Latino communities and average age is under 30. Many don't know who represents them on the COS board or what decisions have been made on their behalf. Many times community college concerns in this area go unrepresented.

The time has come to bring change to a board that usually takes this ward's concerns and support for granted.

I will represent the needs and concerns of an area where I was raised, live and obviously know. I look forward to being a proactive voice and paving a wider road to education for our sons, daughters, and all COS students. Everyone deserves easy access to the education they deserve.
