For years Pamela Bensoussan has served in various leadership positions - from her role in organizing the Historic Home Tours to co-founding Chula Vista's Northwest Civic Association. This past year she has chaired the Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC) and she is a current member of the Planning Commission and the Third Avenue Village Association (TAVA) Design Committee, just to name a few.

Pamela has been a strong advocate for responsible development in Chula Vista for many years. She believes that growth in Chula Vista's economy can be achieved without damaging our neighborhoods and quality of life, and, she is willing to do the hard work to make this goal a reality.

Pamela Bensoussan is a native of Chula Vista and successful businesswoman. She is a professional certified appraiser, accredited by the American Society of Appraisers. In 2005 Pamela added real estate appraising to her long established personal property appraisal practice.

When Pamela was born her family lived on Shasta Street in Chula Vista and moved a few years later to Lynwood Hills in Bonita. Her father was a successful restaurateur in the South Bay and her mother worked as a dressmaker and designer. Her children, David and Nicole, graduated from Bonita Vista High School. They are pursuing graduate work, David at UC Irvine and Nicole at Yale University.

Pamela resides in the western side of the city where she purchased the historic Greg Rogers House on Second Avenue + a three story craftsman home built in 1910. The home was in run down condition and Pamela has been lovingly restoring it over the last decade.
