Michael Andrews is a resident of Ladera Ranch, CA where he lives with his wife Niki. He comes to California via Dayton, OH where he was born and raised. While in Dayton, Michael served as an elected Priority Board member and as Secretary of that organization in Downtown Dayton. He has been committed to progressive issues and continues that committment today.

Michael is seeking election to the Democratic Party County Central Committee for the 71st State Assembly District. As a Central Committee Member, Michael will fight to increase progressive participation in community activism, make sure that new voters that have been drawn into the process in this historic election are given an opportunity to continue participation after the November election, and will reach out to surrounding counties to build a progressive coalition to develop community leaders and future candidates for office in Southern California.

Michael works as a commercial banker in Orange County, is active in Junior Achievement and attends Irvine United Church of Christ.
