This information is provided by the candidate

As a youth, Andreas attended public schools, was an altar boy, enjoyed playing baseball and was active in the YMCA. He continues to be active to this day in church and community, but now keeps in shape by the long hours it takes to "walk the precincts" in District #2.

Andreas went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law School, a Fulbright Fellowship, and, in 2000, his license by the California Bar to practice law. Andreas then served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Oliver W. Wanger at the U.S. District Court. It was here in Fresno (at Starbucks) that Andreas met and later married Anna Hadjinlian. Anna earned her MBA at CSU Fresno and is employed as COO of the Central Valley Business Incubator. Both Andreas and Anna's families migrated from Greece and they look forward to raising children in Fresno and sharing their Greek and Armenian heritages with them.

Andreas is on the faculty as a professor of law at the San Joaquin College of Law. In private practice Andreas focused on business law, and served as an in-house counsel for the National Association of Securities Dealers (now known as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) where he dealt with securities regulation throughout California.

Andreas has been actively campaigning door-to-door in District #2 since August, and meeting with business, civic, law enforcement, community and political leaders since last spring to discuss the district, the city, and the regional issues that need to be addressed as we face the challenges of continued growth in Fresno and our greater Central Valley.
