Candidate for
Council Member; City of Novato

I have been a registered Democrat since 1960 except for a few years when I joined the Green Party to support their environmental opinions. I re-registered as a Democrat because the ideals of the party are more aligned with my views of sustainability, public education and better health care.

I support Novato's neighborhoods, small, local businesses and affordable home ownership. In addition, I believe that sustainable growth, maintaining a diverse community, and the implementation of better educational programs are imperative to building a healthier community.

There is a great need for more involvement of Novato's neighborhoods in the planning processes and land development. With a collaborative process, we can protect Novato's small-town charm and unique character.
